Inside Look: Portland Art Museum Expansion & Renovation

This special event offers a rare, behind‑the‑scenes look at the Portland Art Museum’s full campus expansion and renovation, guided by the team responsible for delivering the project.

Unlike a typical museum visit, these one‑hour guided tours dive deeper into the planning, construction, and execution of the work. Attendees will explore new and renovated spaces across the campus and gain insight into the design intent, sequencing, and technical challenges that shaped the project—access and perspective not available to the public.

The evening includes time to network in the Sunken Ballroom, along with rotating guided tours that begin at scheduled times throughout the event.

Tour Details

  • Guided tours are limited to 25 people per group to ensure a high‑quality experience.
  • Attendees must select a tour start time during registration.
  • Tour spots are first‑come, first‑served and expected to sell out.

Pricing

  • $50 for members
  • $95 for non‑members

This event is designed for those who want more depth, more access, and direct insight into one of the region’s most significant cultural construction efforts.
